Meet Sam
Sam moved to Northwest Arkansas and quickly realized how hard it was to discover events without falling into a time-sucking scroll spiral.
The idea for Yay! NWA was born. Sam wanted a simple, community-powered tool to make event discovery feel more like word of mouth and less like an algorithm.
Sam has been refining this idea through participation in the EforAll NWA accelerator program and ARise Arkanasas tech startup support organization. She is passionate about mountain biking, education, and community. She believes that technology should be used to strengthen communities and bring people together.
